Environmental factors seem to be more prevalent than genetic factors in the overall causality of ADHD Spectrum Disorder. More than 121 risk factors exist according to Dr. Yannick Pauli of Switzerland, a leading expert on the subject. These factors include such things as epigenetics, birth process, food intolerances of the child, gestational diabetes of the mother, even socio-economic factors. The lower the socio-economic status of the family, the increased risk of incidence. Genetics probably accounts for 30% of the risk factor while environmental risk factors account for 70%.
The 121 combinations of possible causes and increased risk provides for an almost endless number of possibilities. It’s like a Rubix Cube of possible combinations to try to solve the puzzle of ADHD, Autism, Torrette’s. learning disabilities, and other developmental delay syndromes. The Rubix Cube can be solved in 42 moves or less by masters. In less than 6 seconds for some. The 3-D model of the algorithm that solves ADHD to Autism spectrum of disorders, is evolving as we speak. By combining neurologic stimulus to the CNS via the chiropractic adjustment, and using diet and physical therapeutics many patients are achieving miraculous results naturally without relying on drug intervention.
Stay tuned as more people get on board the new model for ADHD Sectrum Disorder of a weak hemisphere of the brain that is delayed in development. Because of this, the two hemispheres fail to adequately communicate with each other. They are not in sync.- Literally! So neurologically the person is compromised. Then you look at them metabolically. If there is an imbalance in this system too, then dietary changes and modifications need to occur. Many of these kids suffer leaky gut and/or food intolerances that turn into neurotoxins in the brain if not properly metabolized.
